Millie Vaughan, CEO

 Millie Vaughan has spearheaded efforts for progressive campaigns, nonprofits, and advocacy initiatives, delivering results that drive meaningful change.

Under her leadership, Summit Strategies has achieved groundbreaking successes, including leading the fundraising operations for Ohioans United for Reproductive Rights and coordinating record-breaking efforts for the Columbus City Council endorsed slate. Her work has also extended to the Ohio Environmental Council Action Fund PAC and providing fundraising trainings for organizations like the Children’s Funding Project Action Fund, which supports early childhood education initiatives.

Millie’s extensive career includes serving as Finance Director for the Ohio Democratic Party, where she revitalized the organization’s financial operations. She has also held leadership roles with the Ohio Senate Democrats, where she oversaw campaign strategy and fundraising efforts that set new benchmarks for the caucus. Earlier in her career, Millie worked as Deputy Finance Director for Steve Dettelbach’s campaign for Ohio Attorney General, managing events and donor outreach that significantly outperformed expectations.

Millie currently serves as an elected member of the Franklin County Democratic Party Central Committee and on the board of Preterm, Ohio's only non-profit abortion clinic.
